This was a pretty good story. It was fun that it used some phrases that are only used in England or Australia, instead of the USA norm.The Heroine has trouble trusting men, she has given up on them because of a couple scary incidents in her personal history. We find out about these over the course of the story.
The Hero is a fairly realistic Sheik. For example, he doesn't drink wine. He is used to being pursued by women, not avoided.
These two are the maid of honor and best man at their friends' wedding, and then meet at the engagement party. There is a lot of attraction between them, but also a lot of misunderstandings.
This story has romance, a bit of politics, action, and emotional development

I loved this story. Didn't wAnt to put it down. First Sophie Weston read but I will look for more now.

I really liked this book and enjoyed the pictures. The book was well written and the pictures really made the book come alive. Great read.
Natasha Lambert is a stylish career girl who's horrified by what she has to wear as her best friend's bridesmaid! Worse, the best man is Kazim al Saraq - an infuriatingly charming sheikh with a dazzling wit and an old fashioned take on romance. He's determined to win Natasha's heart and she's terrified he might succeed.... What Natasha doesn't know is that she's in danger from more than just her rioting emotions - and Kazim will do anything to protect her. He'd even risk his life for her....
The back cover is a little misleading. The book is good overall. The lead characters have good chemistry and good dialogue. It's a keeper for me and I recommend it.
Enough excitement, too.
But the talking to self disappointed me somewhat. Could have done without it .
I would have loved a wedding included.
Exciting, frustrating, intrigue, and romantic. Natasha, your typical bossy, frustrated livestock woman who does not want t to be shown up by Sheik Tamir, but wants to be romances by him. Thank goodness it e danger romantically.
This was OK, nothing too exciting. I read both the book and the Harlequin comic version of this story, and to be honest I enjoyed the comic more then the novel version. The story is just a little different in the comic, in the book it is much more clear that she knows about the potential danger. Just not a story I plan to pick up again.
